I、 Precautions before PET/CT examination
1. Please take out the metal articles and mobile phones on the body surface and hand them over to the family for safekeeping.
2. After the injection of imaging agent, please rest quietly at the designated place for 30~60 minutes, try to relax your limbs, walk less, and do not talk.
3. According to the doctor's instructions, drink about 500ml of water, empty urine, and avoid urine polluting the body surface and clothes when urinating. If there is any pollution, please inform the doctor, and timely handle and replace it.
II、 Precautions during PET/CT examination
1. During the whole body PET/CT examination, you need to raise your arms. The general examination time is about 15 minutes. Do not turn over and move without the doctor's permission.
2. After the examination, the competent doctor will carefully observe whether the quality of the monitoring image is satisfactory, and allow the subject to leave after approval; If the condition requires further examination, some patients may need delayed imaging.
III、 Precautions after PET/CT examination
1. After the examination, please return to the rest room for 30 minutes and drink as much water as possible to facilitate the metabolism and elimination of 18F-FDG. You can eat after one hour.
2. Please avoid close contact with pregnant women and infants within 10 hours after examination.
IV、 Interpreting the report and filing
1. Within three days after PET/CT examination, the doctor shall issue a PET/CT examination report based on image analysis; The doctor in charge shall interpret the examination results and give relevant medical plan guidance.
2. After all the procedures are completed, the examination center will sort out all the medical record information and image data, as well as the consultation records after PET/CT examination, establish files, and archive them.
3. The management personnel of PET/CT examination center will inform the examinee of the re-inspection and medical treatment on time according to the record information prompt of the examinee's examination file and the scientific schedule.
